We know that prioritising mental health and well-being in the workplace is crucial for sustained performance. This seems obvious to most people at this point. And it is reflected in the ever growing adoption of workplace wellness programs and increase in corporate “wellness perks” offered by companies, particularly over the post-lockdown period.
However, a 2024 Oxford University study of 46,000 employees across over 200 companies found that workplace wellness programs—including mindfulness training, on-site massages, and meditation apps—did not significantly improve employee wellbeing.
In my keynote speeches and workshops, I explore strategies to genuinely foster a supportive environment that prioritises the mental health and wellbeing of employees, in turn leading to better overall performance and satisfaction.
